Nimhans shuts OPD for two months, draws flak

The outpatient department (OPD) of the onal Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (Nimhans), the country’s premier mental health institution, has remained shut for the past two months. Though the lockdown triggered by Covid-19 has been eased, the OPD is yet to open. This has forced many psychiatric patients to seek help from private doctors, fearing relapse due to anxiety, corona fears and lockdown stress.
