Solar pumps to quench Bandipur animals’ thirst

Bandipur Tiger Reserve (BTR) authorities have decided to increase the number of solar-powered pumps in the protected areas spread across 872 square kilometres (core area) bordering Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Bengalore: Coming down heavily on the Congress for demanding a ban on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on the lines of the Popular Front of India, the ruling BJP has equated the PFI with the Congress.
