Alzheimer’s: New molecule could be drug candidate

After more than 10 years of research, scientists from Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research have developed a small molecule that can prevent the mechanism resulting in neurons (brain cells) becoming dysfunctional in Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
