Replica of Gandhi’s Sabarmati Ashram in Gadag

People of North Karnataka need not travel all the way to Gujarat to have a glimpse of Sabarmati Ashram, one of residences of Mahatma Gandhi, in Ahmedabad. Now they can see the Ashram in their own backyard as its replica is set up on the premises of Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University (KSRDPU) in Gadag.

Bengalore: Coming down heavily on the Congress for demanding a ban on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on the lines of the Popular Front of India, the ruling BJP has equated the PFI with the Congress.
