K'taka adds 6,100 cases; B'luru toll crosses 1k

Karnataka on Thursday reported more than 6,000 Covid cases — the highest single-day spike yet — taking the total number infections in the state close to 1.2 lakh. The day saw 3,793 patients being discharged on recovery.

Bengaluru: Congress-ruled Karnataka government is all set to launch the Shakthi scheme on Sunday which facilitates free bus travel for all women in state owned Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) and other corporations.
