Govt ready to conduct CET as scheduled: Min

Karnataka higher education minister C N Ashwath Narayan said that the government is ready to conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) on July 30 and 31 and will inform the same to the high court on Wednesday. However, the final decision on the conduct of the exam will be taken only after the HC order.

Bengaluru: Congress-ruled Karnataka government is all set to launch the Shakthi scheme on Sunday which facilitates free bus travel for all women in state owned Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) and other corporations.
