DK sees single biggest spike of 97 Covid cases

Dakshina Kannada district recorded its highest ever spike of 97 Covid19 positive cases on Sunday, a day that Karnataka recorded its biggest 24-hour spike of 1267 positive cases. The three deaths that DK district recorded on the day added to the unenviable fact that the 97 cases saw DK second in list of districts behind Bengaluru Urban that recorded 783 cases. Udupi was fourth in the day’s list with 40 cases behind Ballari’s 71.
