ISRO releases satellite image of Ayodhya Ram Temple

Bengaluru: The Hyderabad-based National Remote Sensing Centre of ISRO has provided a glimpse of the newly built Ram Temple in Ayodhya from space. Taken from the Indian Remote Sensing Satellite hovering over space, the image shared by ISRO on Sunday shows the grand new temple which will be inaugurated on January 22. The image, which was taken on December 16, last year, also shows the Dasharath Mahal, the Ayodhya Railway Station, and the pious Sarayu River. The consecration will take place on Monday amid the Vedic hymns in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among others. Karnataka cabinet approves social security Bill for transport workers

Bengaluru: In a bid to extend social security to an auto rickshaw, taxis, maxicabs, lorries, buses, and other vehicle workers, the Karnataka Cabinet has given the green light to the ‘Karnataka Motor Transport and Other Related Workers Social Security and Welfare Tariff Bill-2024.’ The Labor Department proposed the bill, which is set to be presented during the legislative session in February. The bill aims to assist workers in the unorganized sector, particularly those in auto, taxi, maxicab, lorry, bus, and other vehicle segments, who face social and economic challenges if they meet with accidents resulting in death or total permanent disability. The proposed legislation plans to create a dedicated Karnataka Motor Transport and other related Workers Social Security and Welfare Board for the efficient collection, management, and distribution of funds for the beneficiaries. Earlier, Hariprasad had said that Godhra-like development is likely to be repeated in Karnataka and had urged the state government to ensure the security of those who are traveling to Ayodhya in the coming days. “As per information available, a Godhra-like incident can take place in Karnataka. Hassan: Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda stated on Friday that he will visit Ayodhya with his family on January 22 and attend the ‘Prana Pratishtha’ event at the Ram temple. Speaking to reporters, Deve Gowda said, “I am leaving for Ayodhya with my wife, son, former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, his wife Anita Kumaraswamy, and grandson Nikhil Kumaraswamy.
