The incident had taken place in Cubbon Park police station area. Bengaluru : Karnataka Congress president D.K.Shivakumar stated on Monday that the Congress high command has called a meeting of state leaders to chalk out the strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Bengaluru : The BJP party on Thursday staged a state-wide protest in Karnataka demanding the arrest of three Muslim girls who allegedly filmed a Hindu girl student in a college restroom. The protest turned violent in Bengaluru, when the BJP party activists, members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and BJP Yuva Morcha tried to barge inside the premises of the residence of Home Minister Dr G. Bengaluru: The Karnataka Rail Infrastructure Development Company Ltd (K-RIDE) has prepared a new proposal of 452-km length to extend the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP) to nearby cities and towns and has sought the approval of the Railways Ministry to conduct the pre-feasibility study, a state government statement said. Patil said that the new proposal puts forth the plan to extend the BSRP network to Kolara, Tumakuru, Mysuru, Bangarapete, Hosuru, and Gauribidanur cities.
